Purchase & Download
Get Sentinel X AI from MQL5 Market
- Visit the MQL5 Market product page for Sentinel X AI
- Purchase the EA ($399 lifetime) or rent ($99/month, $149/3 months, $199/6 months)
- Ensure your MQL5 account is logged in on your MT5 terminal
- Go to Tools > Options > Community tab and verify your MQL5 login
Configure WebRequests (Crucial)
Enable required API connections for AI engine & news feeds
- Open your MT5 Terminal
- Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors
- Check the box: 'Allow WebRequest for listed URL'
- Add: https://api.openai.com (Required for the AI Brain)
- Add: https://www.youtube.com (Required for News/Trump Filter)
- WebRequest URLs for data center provided after purchase
- Click OK to save all settings
Download & Install in MT5
Access your purchased EA through MT5
- Open MetaTrader 5 terminal
- Press Ctrl+T to open the Toolbox window
- Navigate to the Market tab, then Downloads section
- Click Install/Download next to Sentinel X AI
- The EA will auto-install to the correct Experts directory
Attach to XAUUSD Chart
Set up the EA on Gold H1 chart
- Open a XAUUSD (Gold) chart in MetaTrader 5
- Set the timeframe to H1 (1 Hour) — this is mandatory
- In the Navigator panel, expand Expert Advisors
- Drag Sentinel X AI onto the XAUUSD H1 chart
- In the Common tab, enable 'Allow Algo Trading'
- Hedge type account is recommended
Configure Input Parameters
Customize your dual-engine trading parameters
- Select Trading Method: Active Both, Sentinel-X Only, or Sentinel-IA Only
- Set Magic Numbers (default: EA 888888, AI 999999)
- Choose Lot Sizing Method: Fixed, Risk Percent, or Balance Multiplier
- Configure AI Confidence Level: Conservative or Aggressive
- Set TP/SL Mode: Fixed, AI (ATR-based), or Hybrid
- Configure News Filter timing and Trump Live Filter
- Set daily loss limits and consecutive loss pause
- Enable/Disable Partial Close at half TP
Enable AutoTrading & Go Live
Activate the EA and start trading
- Click the AutoTrading button in MT5 toolbar (green icon)
- Verify the smiley face appears on the chart
- The on-chart panel will display broker info, session status, and AI state
- Monitor: P (Pending orders) and L (Live positions) counters
- Wait for the EA to detect trading conditions — this may take time
- The WAIT mode is normal — the EA is analyzing the market

Troubleshooting
WebRequest fails or AI not working?
Verify all URLs are added correctly in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors. Ensure internet connection is stable. Restart MT5 after adding URLs.
EA shows WAIT mode for a long time?
This is normal. The dual-engine system waits for all filters and conditions to align. During low volatility or news blackout periods, the EA will pause trading.
EA not appearing in Navigator?
Go to Market tab in Toolbox (Ctrl+T), check Downloads section. Verify MQL5 login in Tools > Options > Community. Restart MT5.
Trades not opening?
Check: AutoTrading is enabled (green icon), chart is XAUUSD H1, WebRequest URLs are correct, spread is within max allowed, and no active news filter is blocking.
